Jazwares Mortal Kombat 9 Jax 6 Inch Review

Jazwares released Jax as part of their Mortal Kombat 9 line-up in 2012. Jax was originally was suppose to have a 4 inch version, but it was recently cancelled.

Sculpt:

Jax uses all new parts and there’s some nice detail on his cybernetic arms. The quality and overall look on this line has been a bit disappointing as Jazwares appears to have dropped the ball. He needs more detail where the cybernetic arms meet the flesh as the way it was sculpted makes it look too unrealistic.

Paint:

Jax is painted brown (skin color), green paints, black/grey boots, and grey arms with some minor yellow detail.

Articulation:

He has 17 points of articulation.

Accessories:

He includes a machine gun.

Overall:

The quality of this new Mortal Kombat line has been disappointing. However, this is Jax’s first figure in 6 inch form and there’s no way to know he will ever be offered again. I would recommend this only to certain loyal fans.
