DC Collectibles Batman: The Animated Series Harvey Bullock Figure Review
DC Collectibles Batman: The Animated Series line released four new figures this month including Harvey Bullock, The Joker, Scarface, and Talia Al Ghul. This line of highly detailed action figures based on Batman: The Animated Series and The New Batman Adventures has been one of the best offerings from the company in years and we are hoping to see it continue into Superman: the Animated Series and Justice League/Justice League Unlimited, which was all created by Bruce Timm.
Our local comic book store sold out very quickly this week of these figures, which unfortunately they only received a few figures from their order. This included The Joker and and Harvey Bullock, which we were only able to obtain Harvey right now as the 1 Joker figure fell into someone else’s hands.
Harvey Bullock is #31 of the series.
Availability: November 2016
Harvey Bullock is based on his appearance as seen in Batman: The Animated Series, which had aired in 1992-1995 before becoming The New Batman Adventures. The figure features a great sculpt and is sculpted in his long blue jacket, blue pants, beige shirt, blue hat and shows as seen in the animated series. The sculpt is big and chubby, as the character was depicted as overweight in the comics as well as the show. The hat is not removable, and the facial likeness and head sculpt is extremely well done. The jacket is made of a soft plastic almost rubbery feel, with the sleeves made of a harder plastic.
Included with Harvey is a pistol, shotgun, a half eaten donut, a round donut, handcuffs, three sets of interchangeable hand sculpts (fisted, grabbing, and gun-holding), and an acrylic figure stand with base.
Harvey Bullock has a great figure sculpt that depict the characters animated likeness exceptionally well. This definitely worth picking up if you are a completists and a fan of the show.
