Toyguru has now stated they will offer MOTUC Spirit Of Hordak again in Early Access later this year.
Toyguru: …At this point we’re going to do 1 more EA for sub holders but it won’t be until very late in the year. Likely the last time he will be offered will be a special EA sale.
He then states in another post…
Toyguru: …We are going to close out the year with a final EA sale. Hordak will return throughout the year, and ideally as time goes on this will be fun. We’ve gotten a lot of praise too for this as a concept overall too. I think, while as completionists and fans it can be frustrating not having instant gratification. But try riding out this train. We want to make collecting MOTUC fun. That may include some innovative ideas. Some may work, some may not. This figure has only been around a week and only had two sales. Granted today’s salenwas plagued by unexpected technical issues! But outside of that, as a fellow collector I’d ask fans to keep an open mind and bare with us as we are at the start of a year long program. Try not to judge too early.
But I do appologise for all the tech errors. We really did have the best intentions. I doubt we will be doing more last min changes in the future!
Playmates Toys had released Baxter Stockman, Snakeweed, and Leatherhead as part of the first wave offered in 2013. The figures are all based on the new animated series and have started to ship to retailers in late April/May 2013. Baxter Stockman is not in-scale with his television series height. While this is not that big of a deal, it would have been nice to have a larger figure about three times the size of this. He is however one of the tallest figures we have gotten in the line standing at 5-1/4″.

Mattel has announced that their own Scott Neitlich “Toyguru” will be guest starring on tomorrows episode of Toy Hunter.
When Jordan Hembrough, the host of Travel Channel’s “Toy Hunter” series needs a little help identifying a vintage MOTU figure, who does he turn to? Our own Toy Guru, of course! We just got the news that the episode is scheduled to air Wednesday 5/15 at 9pm on the Travel Channel. Check your local listings and set your DVR!
The G.I. Joe Collectors’ Club sent out an email informing fans that the 2013 membership exclusive figures 3.75″ Iceberg and the 12″ Comrade Of Action are available to purchase at the Club Store.
Iceberg is available carded for $30 or in a poly bag for $25. Comrade Of Action is available with the accessory set for $79.
Figure Subscription Service exclusives Iron Klaw and Sure Fire are also in stock for $37.50 each.
Toyguru has been responding to many people’s comments and concerns regarding today’s Early Access sale and MOTUC Spirit Of Hordak.
Toyguru: This was an error due to the last min change. Originally we were not going to offer SOH through EA in May, but we heard our sub holders loud and clear that they wanted/expected an opportunity to buy him early. So we moved his EA to May from later in the year. This last min change that we weren’t counting on doing caused some issues with the time of the sale. It was an error and we have now figures out why this happened to prevent it from happening again. Our efforts to please our sub holders back fired a bit. Not intentional and we hope it doesn’t happen again. But our motivations were in the right place. We are just as disapointed as you are. Its not like we intentionally wanted the sale to be off by 10 minutes. Sorry about that!
He also reminds fans that Spirit Of Hordak will go back on sale throughout the year and this will not be your only chance to get him.
Toyguru: Being a subscriber does not guarantee you the non sub items. In fact, we produced way fewer SOH figures compared to the number of subscribers we have. So there is litterally no way to guarantee every sub holder can get one.
Editors Note: Way fewer? Really Mattel? This does not sound right and things like this may impact subscription purchases…

Marvel Studios’ IRON MAN 3 is hitting the theaters this week! The newest trailers have introduced a multitude of new suits. Today, we’re excited to present one of the brand new armors from Hot Toys’ Power Pose Series (PPS), the Red Snapper Sixth Scale Collectible Figure. The Mark XXXV (35) disaster rescue suit includes an extendable arm and movable claw-like hands which can perform film-accurate poses. The Red Snapper Mark XXXV (35) features LED light-up functions and a figure display stand with a Red Snapper and Stark Industries nameplate.
Update: 8:18 am PT – He is sold out! Mattel will put him back on the website at different times and days throughout the year without any advance notice.
Mattycollector has kept their promise and put him up on Early Access as stated yesterday. The sale started at 8:15 am PT and he will go fast! Hurry!
Hasbro has released images on the Official Transformers Facebook page of the upcoming Transformers Generations Deluxe Thundercracker and Hoist images. Thundercracker uses the same mold as Fall Of Cybertron Starscream and Hoist is a remold of Trailcutter with a new head and accessory.

International buyers, we’ve been getting a lot of emails asking us for shipping rates over the past several months. We are asking you to let us know what shipping method you would prefer us to ship internationally and what the going rate should be. Paypal and USPS.com appears to have been giving us quotes that are sometimes a bit too high.

Ecto-1 is in great condition with moderate wear. There body of the vehicle has some minor scuffing, and appears to have slight discoloration.
Diamond Select Toys had released Marvel Select Venom figure in late February/March 2013. In some current Ask DST Q&A’s, Diamond has stated that Spider-Man characters are on the top of their release list right now for the Marvel Select line. Venom is one of the best figures offered from DST simply because of all the interchangeable parts included with him, and for a very reasonable price of $19.99-$21.99 or more. You will never see that happen with Hasbro.
